Employer Forum for
Childcare Solutions

Join the Kalispell Chamber, Montana State Chamber, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and Zero to Five Montana on June 11 for a dynamic Childcare and Workforce Solutions Forum. Designed for businesses, nonprofits, elected leadership, and community allies, this event will explore practical ways to address child care challenges that affect employers, working families, and the broader economy.

The day will be full with inspiring keynotes and interactive panels highlighting how employers can play a meaningful role in supporting child care through workplace practices, partnerships, and community-driven solutions. Hear the local Growing Roots/Immanuel Living story and how their venture in to childcare has served as a workforce retention tool and helped the community in a very big way!
We will have experts on policy, provide you the latest in childcare study results for Montana, and end the day with a fast and furious brainstorming experience for you to put your new knowledge to work and identify solutions and set policy direction for the 2027 legislature.

Attendance is free. Registration is required, and space is limited. Lunch will be provided.

Agenda topics are still being finalized, but will include:

  • Workforce participation and Montana labor trends
  • Employer-led child care solutions and success stories
  • Learnings from the Employer-Sponsored Child Care Grant
  • Federal child care tax credits and benefits for employers and families
  • Building sustainable child care and workforce solutions through partnerships
  • Action planning to inform your business policies, as well as strategies to inform policy direction for the 2027 Legislature
