As a way to energize our community, encourage individuals to spend time in Downtown Kalispell, and bring excitement to our area we host a series of four, fun community parades. Traveling up Main Street, in the heart of downtown, our parades spark the imagination of children, impress the adults, and give our members and local organizations the chance to show off in front of a crowd of hundreds.
Please, join us for the following:
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is hosted in conjunction with the Ancient Order of the Hibernians and occurs each year on March 17th at 4:00pm. Wear your brightest green so you can be seen by the many leprechauns marching up the road and don’t forget your candy bag to collect your lucky treasure.
Spend the morning of Independence Day at 10:00am with us and a thousand other neighbors to celebrate the land of the free and home of the brave. The 4th of July Parade is our second largest parade, and we can’t think of a better way to kick off your holiday than celebrating in beautiful Downtown Kalispell.
The Northwest Montana Fair and Rodeo Parade is at 10:00am on the Friday morning of the Fair and, as Kalispell’s largest parade, boasts nearly 90 entries from tractors and trucks to horses and superheroes. Following the parade, head over to the Fair for some good ‘ol Northwest Montana fun including animal exhibits, bright rides, musical acts, and authentic Montana rodeo. Winter in the Flathead Valley is a special time of year. The mountains are drenched with snow, the air is crisp, and the historic buildings of downtown are gleaming with lights and full of holiday shoppers. Join us for our Holiday Parade as we welcome Santa to the valley. The official date and time of this parade are still to be announced. Please check back to this page later this fall.
