ACCESSING AND NAVIGATING THE KALISPELL CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP PORTAL

What is the Kalispell Chamber Membership Portal? The membership portal is your online member account where you can control your organization’s information that is displayed on our website, such as hours, location, and description, in addition to being able to create and submit events, hot deals, news releases and job postings, to our website, register for any of our events, and pay membership dues and invoices.

As a member you have the ability to access the membership portal anytime by visiting our website, www.kalispellchamber.com and clicking “LOGIN” at the top of the home page.

UPDATE YOUR LISTING ON OUR ONLINE MEMBER DIRECTORY

All of our members are listed within the Directory on our website. Through the Membership Portal, you have the ability to control exactly how your listing in the Directory appears by making updates to your address, phone numbers, website, etc. in addition to adding customized descriptions and your physical location (if applicable) on a map. We strongly suggest adding your hours of operation in the description.

You can update your information by clicking Website Information from the tabs on the left side. If the information you’d like displayed is the same as what you have filled in under Organization Information (more on that later), you can leave the checkmark checked. If your information is different, uncheck the box and make desired edits.

UPDATE COMPANY INFORMATION FOR KALISPELL CHAMBER RECORDS

Click on Account Settings from the top right of your screen, then select Company Information. Updating information here will update our internal records. If everything you have entered in this section is exactly the same as you’d want it to appear in the Directory on our website, then refer to the check-box comment from the step above.

Update your Company Information, such as address, phone number, website, etc. by clicking on the tabs on the left side. The more complete and accurate this information is, the easier it is for our staff to contact you and your team in the correct ways.

There is the option for you to update employees by clicking on their names, which show up under the employee tab when underneath the Company section on the left. Updating employees helps us communicate with the right people and ensures they’re in the right groups EX: any employees 18-39 years of age can be included in our young professional development group, Flathead Area Young Professionals.

You have the option of including employees in your listing withing the Directory online. If you’d like to do so, choose the employee information you’d like displayed on your directory listing by editing the employee display preferences, which can be found underneath the Personal tab on the left.

SHARE NEWS ABOUT YOUR ORGANIZATION BY ADDING A NEWS RELEASE

In addition to controlling your organization’s information listed within the Directory, you can also share updates and new information by adding a News Release to our website. The four most recent entries by our members appear on our homepage and can all be found chronologically from the News part of our website.

  1. Log in to the membership portal
  2. Click on News Releases from the left-hand menu

  1. View current news releases created by other chamber members, add a news release, or manage existing news releases.

  1. Click Add News Release and fill in your information. In the Category section at the bottom, be sure to also click Community.

Once you have all of the fields populated you can either choose Save as Draft so you can revisit it later for edits or choose Submit and it will be sent to the chamber for review and approval. Cancel will cancel the creation without saving. News Releases are typically approved by chamber staff within 24 hours, at which point they will appear on www.kalispellchamber.com. Note: Once a news release, event, job posting, or hot deal has been submitted for approval, you will have to contact our office to make any edits.
