Manufacturers Alliance 2.0
The Kalispell Chamber founded the Manufacturers Alliance in 2013 as a vehicle to inform policymakers, legislators, the public, and the media about manufacturing’s vital leadership role in innovation, job creation, and economic vitality. The Manufacturers Alliance works to encourage policies and activities that support innovation and business success while simultaneously engaging with the Kalispell community to ensure manufacturers have access to the workforce they need. The Kalispell Chamber also assists manufacturers in expanding internationally by being the local organization to provide official Certificates of Origin.
Flathead Manufacturing (MFG) Day and Manufacturing Month is the signature event series for the Manufacturers Alliance, which falls on the first Friday in October, in line with National MFG Day. Manufacturing Month kicks off in 2023 on Monday, October 2nd. Stay tuned for details on this year’s manufacturing program. In 2022, 19 Flathead manufacturers offered 38 tours, with tours focused on the community, job seekers, and students and educators. Additional activities in the month included business networking opportunities, a manufacturing symposium, the manufacturing luncheon, and the Flathead Timber Tour.
Community sign up for tours will open in later summer 2023.
The Manufacturers Alliance is a regional affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers and is comprised of all manufacturing members of the Kalispell Chamber. Flathead Valley manufacturers are invited to contact Jenn Cronk at 406-758-2801 or j.cro[email protected] for more information about the alliance.
