Big things are happening across town and we’re excited to share our fraction of it with you this July. The busy tourism season is upon us, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped working to promote our area to out-of-market meetings and conventions – our Convention and Visitor Bureau hosted two familiarization tours to help secure future meetings by highlighting the incredible offerings of the area and diving deep into what makes Kalispell unique.
Also in the last month, we have worked closely with the City of Kalispell, Flathead County, and the Montana Department of Transportation to put together an application for a $12-15 federal BUILD grant that, if awarded, would expand a portion of the southern-half of the Kalispell bypass to four lanes, remove the roundabouts, and add new interchanges complete with new overpasses.
The Event at Rebecca Farm is coming up this month, and as one of the largest events to hit the Flathead Valley every year, they’re in need of volunteers to help make the event go off without a hitch. Sign up to volunteer online, say you’re with the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce when prompted, and you’ll be entered to win a $200 VISA cash card. Click here to learn more.
