WorkForce Flathead is a partnership established in 2017 with multiple organizations leading the way in work-based learning, workforce development and answering the needs of our Flathead Valley employers.
WorkForce Flathead works to:
• Assist existing firms with growth opportunities.
• Develop a robust workforce initiative to provide the industry with the talented and educated workforce it needs
Activities Include:
Retiree Workforce Brunch – 2025 Date to be announced soon! This is a free spring-time brunch for seniors and retirees who are interested in learning what kind of ‘return-to-work’ opportunities are out there in the Flathead Valley. The format consists of 8 curated companies/organizations representing a variety of occupations and physical locations throughout the Flathead giving a 5 minute ‘pitch’ each about the type of work and schedules they offer. And after the pitches are over, attendees have the opportunity to have coffee and sit around tables together with the various businesses to learn more in a casual, no-obligation exploratory environment. If you or a friend, family member, or neighbor is thinking about ‘going back to work’ but weren’t sure where to start, this brunch is the place to be. More information will be coming by mid to late January; event will be held in late March or early April 2025.
