Our Chamber is a private, member-funded organization—completely independent of government funding. This empowers us to remain agile, innovative and hyper-focused on the needs of our community and local businesses. We are a team of committed individuals working together to strengthen our community through collaboration and determination.

As part of our forward-thinking efforts, we are excited to launch our Community Stewardship Plan in 2025, further demonstrating our commitment to the people and the place we call home. Our priorities remain clear: workforce development, childcare, housing, and smart, intentional growth. These focus areas will help us make a lasting impact with our resources.
In 2024, we’ve made significant progress through community engagement and strategic partnerships, but there’s still more to do. We are committed to building a diversified local economy by creating family-sustaining, high-wage jobs.
Our Manufacturing Alliance plays a key role in ensuring a robust manufacturing sector, poised to grow over the next few years. This initiative is about more than jobs—it’s about creating career pathways that allow the youth in our community to stay, thrive, and build their futures here.

Tourism continues to be a cornerstone of our local economy, and we’re taking proactive steps to ensure sustainable growth in this sector. Our efforts as a Destination Stewardship Organization reflect our commitment to balancing tourism with the preservation of our breathtaking natural landscapes.
Small businesses in Kalispell rely heavily on visitors, and without our vibrant tourism sector, we wouldn’t have the incredible array of retail merchants, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and creative industries that contribute to our unique local culture.
