Workforce Flathead Summer Jobs Program
The 2023 WorkForce Flathead Summer Jobs Program concluded on August 1st with a successful summer of mentorship facilitated by Mike Lincoln with Reach Higher Montana. We had four students successfully complete the full summer program, including pre-employment essential skills training, working throughout the summer at local businesses, and attending weekly mentoring meetings. Students worked at Park Side Credit Union, one as a teller and one in HR, at Immanuel Lutheran Communities in their dining department, and at Western Building Center in the lumber yard. Students earned while they learned and gained valuable skills and lessons that they’ll take either back to school and/or into their next steps in the workforce. To learn more about the WFSJP, visit the website. Employer interest sign up is open HERE. . If you have questions, reach out to Jenn Cronk at 406-758-2801 or email.
Also, special thanks to MacKenzie River Pizza for their support of the Summer Jobs Program – check out the Community Night Voucher for a percentage of your meal dollars to support the summer jobs program!
